At Equine Eyes, our mission is driven by the compassion and dedication of our volunteers. Whether you’re experienced with horses or simply passionate about helping others, there’s a meaningful place for you on our team.When you volunteer, you can improve the lives of blind and visually impaired people directly, as well as the tiny horses that guide them.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering at Equine Eyes isn’t just about lending a hand; it’s about becoming part of something bigger. Our volunteers:
- Assist with community outreach events
- Support administrative tasks, fundraising, and behind-the-scenes efforts
- Play a critical role in public education and advocacy for service animal rights
Who Can Volunteer?
We welcome individuals who are:
- Responsible, compassionate, and reliable
- At least 16 years old (volunteers under 18 must have parental permission)
- Willing to learn about miniature horse behavior, service animal etiquette, and disability advocacy
- Comfortable working around animals & people
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Horse Helpers: Groom the mini’s, support trainers during public access outings
- Fundraising Support: Help with online campaigns, event planning, or donor outreach.
- Community Ambassadors: Represent Equine Eyes at schools, fairs, and speaking events.

- Photographers & Videographers
- Host Fundraising Events
